Ice dyeing workshop, September 18, 2026

Join me Friday, September 18 at 6:00 pm at the pavilion behind the Nelson Center in Lovingston, VA. In this free workshop, we will learn basic ice dyeing. Mordant, dye and ice will be provided. You will need to bring either a T shirt or fabric that is 100% natural fiber like cotton or linen and a pair of dishwashing gloves. Your fabric does not need to be bright white as long as the fabric is a light color the fiber reactive dyes will “overdye” it. You will need to wash and dry your T shirt or fabric prior to the workshop for best results. 

The fabric has to sit for 24 hours so they won't be "ready" until about 7:00 pm on Saturday September 19. We can talk about pick up for your fabric at the workshop.
