Ice dyeing workshop, July 10, 2026

Join me July 10 at 7:00 pm at the pavilion behind the Nelson Center in Lovingston, VA. In this free workshop, we will learn basic ice dyeing. Mordant, dye and ice will be provided. You will need to bring either a Tshirt or fabric that is 100% natural fiber like cotton or linen and a pair of dishwashing gloves. Neither Tshirt nor fabric, need to be bright white as long as the fabric is a light color the fiber reactive dyes will “overdye” it. You will need to wash and dry your Tshirt or fabric prior to the workshop for best results.
