Sewing Machine 101 March 13, 2026 6:30 pm-7:30 pm. Ages 12 and up. Taught by Heather Braunstein.
This class is for folks who have a sewing machine hiding in a closet or attic that has never been used, but is in working order. You will learn how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, sewing machine maintenance, and basic stitches.
You will need to bring: your machine, power cable, bobbins that fit your machine, and instruction manual if you have it. Sewing machine needles, thread and fabric scraps will be provided.
This class is NOT to address repairs. I would be happy to recommend shops in the area that do repairs.
